Kabini River Lodge was fabulous...about 3 hours drive from home (with requisite driver's stop for chai which is always a welcome break from the kidney jarring/spine compressing car rides). It is a government run lodge in the Nagarhole National Park. Lovely rooms, beautiful area, nice meals, and lots and lots of animal sightings...although we did not luck out and see a Bengal Tiger. We used all our chanterelle/morel mushroom spotting eyesight magic but the tigers didn't show. It is all luck of the draw...others did see a tiger and leopard so we know they are out there. No complaints as we did get to see tons wildlife including a two month old wild elephant with her mom and two sisters.

Most of the new Ofoto album pictures are from the park...we'll add captions soon. The first few are around Mysore...various adventures.
