Wedded Bliss
Despite all the odds, and ourselves, we had a fabulous wedding at sunset on February 20th at the Sheesha on Koh Phangan, Thailand. http://www.sheesha-bar.com Rebecca looked like a princess, the ceremony went well, and the food was out of this world. Rebecca's parents had a blast and my Mom did great! She just got stronger and stronger, swimming in the ocean and climbing in and out of our jeep like a beach bunny. Rebecca's Dad left the island asking about property prices. Everyone made it to the island, and we had a wonderful time. We rented a big dive boat and went on a snorkel/dive trip, had a beach barbecue and shot off a lot of fireworks. It was a wonderful group of people and a wondrous few days. Our dear friend Phil only broke eight ribs after the ceremony! We all thank him for taking his turn and saving the rest of us. He has made it home and we hear he is doing fine. Next, Paul, Michele, Rebecca and I made our way to an island off Burma with no power, roads or Americans. The name is hard to translate, but I think it is called Koh Haad Beach Island. We have been out there in our hammocks for the past five days having an amazing time. We worked with a wonderful photographer and will link up a collection of photos as soon as we can. We are on our way to the overnight train to Bangkok and then up north to Chiang Mai for a few days. Thank you for all the kind thoughts and wishes. If I was any happier, it would be illegal. With all our love, frank and rebecca
